These terms govern the use of InShelf – 3D Bookshelf Display (“InShelf” or “the app”), an app for Shopify stores provided by [Full name or company name], tax ID [NIF / CIF] (“we”). By installing the app you accept these terms on behalf of your store. If you don't agree, don't install it. The Spanish version of these terms is the reference text.
1. What InShelf offers
InShelf reads your Shopify store's catalog and shows it to your customers as a 3D bookshelf: every collection is a shelf and every product a book that can be pulled out, viewed and added to the cart. It includes blocks for the store's theme (such as the bookshelf, the hero or the bookshelf strip), an admin to configure it and usage statistics.
The app is meant for businesses. It is not a consumer service.
2. Install and account
- The app is installed from the Shopify App Store with a Shopify account. You must be allowed to install apps in the store.
- By installing it, you authorize InShelf to read the store's products and collections and to add its blocks to the theme when you choose to.
- You're responsible for the security of your Shopify account and for what's done with it.
- In addition to these terms, Shopify's terms for merchants and for apps apply.
3. Plans, trial and billing
- There is a free plan, with limits on books and features, and paid plans. Prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page and in the app itself.
- Paid plans include a 7-day free trial, once per store. If you cancel during the trial, you're not charged.
- Billing is handled by Shopify on your Shopify invoice, in your account's currency and with any applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew every month until you cancel.
- You can change plans or cancel at any time from the app or by uninstalling it. When you cancel, the plan stops renewing; days already paid in the current period aren't refunded unless the law requires it.
- If we change prices, we'll give at least 30 days' notice. The new price only applies if you accept the change in Shopify.
- If Shopify can't collect payment, we may move the store to the free plan.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use InShelf to:
- sell illegal products or infringe the rights of others;
- try to access other stores' data, get around your plan's limits or deliberately overload the service;
- copy, decompile or resell the app or its 3D engine, unless the law expressly allows it.
If we detect such use, we may suspend the service for that store, letting you know whenever possible.
5. Your content
The covers, texts, prices and other catalog content are yours or belong to whoever gave you permission to use them. You allow us to copy and display them only to provide the service in your store. You're responsible for having the rights to that content.

6. Intellectual property
The app, its code, its design, its 3D scenes and the InShelf brand are ours. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use it while the app is installed and you comply with these terms. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without any obligation to you.
7. Availability and changes to the app
We work to keep InShelf running at all times, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service: there may be downtime for maintenance, failures of providers (such as Shopify or hosting) or changes in stores' themes. The app may change over time: we add features and sometimes remove or replace others. If an important feature of a paid plan goes away, we'll let you know in advance.
8. Liability
- The app is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee that it will increase your sales or that it will fit every Shopify theme.
- We're not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of profits, sales or data, except in cases of fraud or gross negligence.
- Our total liability to a store is limited to what that store paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it.
- Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
9. Termination
You can stop using InShelf whenever you want by uninstalling the app. Your store stays as it was: InShelf doesn't change your products or your theme. After uninstalling, we delete the store's data as explained in the privacy policy.
We may terminate a store's access if it seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, or stop offering the app with at least 30 days' notice.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll publish the new version on this page with its date and, if the change is significant, announce it in the app in advance. If you keep using InShelf afterwards, you accept the new version.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of [city], unless the law provides otherwise.
